Both children and adults will love these interactive, rib-tickling shows featuring Marian, her daughter Jenny, and their cast of memorable puppet characters. Librarians appreciate the kid-friendly, reading-oriented themes that are specially designed for each year's Summer Reading Program.

"Your performances were spectacular and you definitely won over our entire audience - both young and old! I'm still receiving compliments on how wonderful your show was! We hope to have you return soon to show off your friends and talents!"

Four components to success are addressed in this educational and informative assembly:

  1. Responsibility
  2. Respect
  3. Risk-taking
  4. Responding Appropriately

Student interaction and visual aids woven together with laughter and learning make this program effective and encouraging. Recommended for grades K - 4.

"As assembly coordinator and Vice Principal for the Haledon, NJ school, I will have to say that Marian and her daughter brought a tremendous level of passion, positive energy and food for thought to our students. It was unbelievable to see 300 elementary students on the edge of their seats for forty-five minutes. WOW!"

~Darren A Petersen, Ed. D.,
Vice Principal for Student Affairs
Haledon Public School: Haledon, NJ

During the All Kids Belong assembly, Marian and Friends help students to recognize and celebrate their differences (physical features such as hair, skin, eye color; talents, abilities, skills). She also reminds them to recognize their similarities (their needs to belong, have friends, be a part of a community). Her daughter, Jenny- a professional ventriloquist- tenderly and tactfully tells the audience about her sister (Marian's youngest child). Jenny explains to school audiences from Kindergarten to grade 4 that her sister, Julia, has severe physical and mental challenges. She talks about her experiences as the sibling of someone with Special Needs and reinforces the theme that 'All Kids Belong'. If requested, Julia accompanies Marian and Jenny to this program and a time of Question and Answer concludes the assembly.

Please note: Marian will gladly work with your school's Guidance Counselor to address the specific needs of your school.

"Thank you for being a special part of our "All Kids Belong" day! We truly appreciate your participation in demonstrating the importance of understanding and acceptance."

~Brecknock Elementary PTO: Knauers, PA

As a former full-time school teacher, it is hard for me not to want to convey an educational message throughout my show. However, some schools request a light-hearted assembly, perhaps as an end-of-the-year reward. All of our shows are loads of fun, and we greatly enjoy the opportunity to incorporate a specific theme or message throughout. However, we also delight in putting smiles on kids' faces… after all, laughter is good for you! These programs are fun and encouraging, recommended for ages pre-K through grade 4.

"Dear Mrs. Gehman: The puppet show was great. My ribs were killing me!"

~Second grade audience member

Corporate picnics, Christmas parties, and various community events are a great match for this audience-interactive family-friendly fun show.

"Thank you for an outstanding opening to the performing arts segment of our Valentine's Fun Fest. Your talent is special, and special, too, is the positive energy that you project onto everyone around you. It must be love of life and love of craft! You're in my Rolodex with five stars…none higher!"
